access keys

Access keys are a navigational aids that ensure our website can be easily navigated using just your keyboard. Each key website area has an access key defined. The appropriate access key will be spoken aloud by a screen reader or if you hover over a link any access key will be displayed. Access keys are used by selecting the 'ALT' button on your keyboard together with the relevant letter / number and then 'Enter'.

The first link on this website is 'Skip Navigation', selecting this link will take you to the content of the site and screen reader users will not hear any of the navigational items. The use of colour has been selected carefully to ensure a sufficient constrast between content, backgrounds and menus. All informational images contain an ALT tag which describes the image and any decorative images have a null ALT tag.

font sizes

This website uses font sizes that you can control using your web browser settings. To increase or decrease the text size follow these steps
  • Internet Explorer : Select 'View', then 'Text Size' and select an appropriate text size
  • Firefox : Select 'View', then 'Text Size' and select an appropriate text size
  • Safari : Select 'View', then 'Make Text Bigger' or 'Make Text Smaller'
